Tommie's Dance Academy Little Rock, Arkansas


Welcome Back Carters Ms. Laura and her family have been living in South Carolina the past two years and now they are back in Little Rock. Before she moved out of state, she had been TDA's bookkeeper for six years and one of our most loved preschool teachers. Her family is like local celebrities around town. Ms. Laura and her husband Mark are the proud parents of quads ~ Ashley, Leslie, Katherine, and Michael. Ms. Laura's dad is very much a celebrity in the community and the best mayor that Little Rock has ever had --- former Mayor Jim Dailey.
TDA Staff - New Instructor Ms. Tiffany just moved to Little Rock after graduating from Colorado State University. While working on her degree she was a dance instructor for Studio West & 5678 Dance Academy. Ms. Tiffany was teaching jazz, ballet, and hip hop to all different ages, but her favorite is hip hop. She was coaching several hip hop competition teams at her former studios. Ms. Tiffany has also studied at a couple of Monsters of Hip Hop dance conventions. TDA Staff / Dancers & Parents hope she has felt a warm welcome to Little Rock and especially from or entire TDA family at the dance academy.
The Pulse on Tour TDA Staff / Varsity Team & High School Dancers will be traveling to Dallas in December to take classes from some of the top choreographers in the country that were also judges on the popular TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." TDA Staff has had the opportunity to take classes from many of these elite choreographers before, when they attended other conventions where you could also find them teaching --- Tremaine, New York Dance Alliance, Monsters of Hip Hop, and L.A. Dance Force. Several TDA Instructors have traveled to New York and taken classes at Broadway Dance Centre where you can also find all of the top notch choreographers teaching.
Razorback Dance Team - ALUMNI Rachael S. started dancing at TDA when she was three years old and she never stopped! She is now a senior at the U of A and it's her forth year to dance on the Razorback Dance Team. She was on our competition dance teams for several years and captain of her high school dance team. During her senior year, she was also an assistant teacher at TDA. Kathryn F. was a leader on our competition teams for many years and is now a junior at the U of A. She auditioned in March for the Razorback's and made the dance team for the third year in a row. Her dedication and love for dance has been inspiring to watch --- she comes to the studio every year when it's time to prepare for another audition. Kathryn was captain of her high school dance team and an assistant teacher at TDA.
