Tommie’s Dance Academy is family owned and operated and has a rich history in the state of Arkansas. We have been serving dancers and their families for the past 34 years. Our teaching staff has twelve professional dance instructors. Tommie’s prides itself on developing a well-rounded dancer by incorporating all three disciplines: Jazz, Ballet and Tap. We also offer classes in Contemporary, Lyrical, Pointe, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop. Classes are offered for 2 yr. olds through Adult.

Tommie’s has nationally competitive dance teams. Our main goal at competition is to have FUN! We believe that competition helps you develop into a great dancer and just as importantly, it builds character and teaches valuable life lessons. Our dance teams have competed in Nashville, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Dallas, San Diego, Orlando, Branson, Panama City, and West Memphis.

Tommie’s Dance Academy produces dancers who are able to perform and compete on the college level. We have had several dancers on the Razorback,
Ole Miss and TCU Dance Teams. Some of our alumni have been dance instructors for Universal Dance Association and National Dance Alliance. Tommie’s also has graduates who have pursued dance at Stephens College, Oklahoma City University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Centenary and UALR.

Tommie’s Dance Academy would like to invite those of you who are visiting our website to come by and meet our friendly and professional staff. You can observe us teaching classes and see our wonderful facility. We have a comfortable waiting rooms and two restrooms.  Both dance rooms have professional dance floors and several observation windows.
